Getting Sunday out of my system….

Yes, Sunday was not brilliant, and neither was yesterday. My brain felt tired and I was in a bit of a daze, in all honesty.

So it was off to the coast today for a bit of sea air. My sister and me. It was a very hot and sticky day, but we both enjoyed the respite from London life and had a nice day, chatting, reminiscing, having some lunch and a couple of refreshing drinks. I don’t spend a lot of time with my sister normally, so this was a good opportunity for some quality time.

We both have had a very difficult year. But I draw inspiration from how my sister lives her life. She has a lot of inner strength and toughness. I don’t know how sometimes, but she battles on in extraordinary way. She is the strongest person I know or am very likely to know. I wish I just had a fraction of that fortitude.

Nice day. And it was good to see a warm day with people walking round in more appropriate summer attire. This warm spell is not before time. Looking forward to getting down to the coast a bit more often in the foreseeable future, with company or without!

Very lucky to have my sister in my life.
