Efficiency on the longest day…

Yep, the summer solstice is here folks. The longest day where we get nearly 17 hours of daylight here in the UK. It’s all downhill from here on in until the 21st December! But let’s not look too far ahead of ourselves.

I’ve been quite efficient (for me, anyway) today in my volunteering stint at SANE. All tasks completed successfully and with the minimum of fuss. Had a bit of equipment moving to do as the admin and services staff will be moving up the corridor to a nice, new airy room. Certainly we’ll be needing that air next week if that exceptional heat is to arrive in London.

So, it’s been a good week. Quite uneventful, but pleasant enough. Now some cricket to look forward to over the weekend. If the weather will be anything like today, fine and pleasant, then it’ll be a good weekend. But then again, it’s been good for the most part this season. Need to focus in enjoying another week.

Whatever you’re doing, have fun.
