No other word for it. As you know, I’ve not been well for the last week. The last three days has seen a relentless barrage of coughing, and that coughing has caused real aches across my abdomen and across my back, between the shoulder blades. Every time I cough, it feels as though someone is stamping on me.

Allied to that, my head is hurting, the room is spinning round and just feel utterly, utterly grim. It’s the May Day bank holiday and I’m back in bed again. I’ve just wandered to the kitchen to get a glass of water and the whole room was spinning. If this doesn’t show any sign of going, then it could be a trip to the doctors. Might be worse than a heavy cold. Coughing relentlessly for three days as though I’ve been ingesting nicotine for most of my life.

Supposed to be doing a few things this week but I’ll have to take day to day decisions on whether I take the risk of going out or staying indoors tucked up in bed. Not the way I want to be feeling as summer approaches.

My head…….
