Stuff ‘n’ no nonsense…

Evening. It could best be described as an effort to get out of the door this morning, but I made the effort and went out.

Thursday morning Peer Support group today, or rather no group. Nobody showed up, so we had to cancel it. With it approaching Christmas, people are either busy or unwell to make it to the group. But I had a little bit of work to do, stuffing envelopes for our mailing list. Didn’t take too long and it oiled the creaky cogs in the malfunctioning brain just enough to make it worthwhile turning up.

What else motivated me this morning? The sunny and cold morning. That gave me an extra prod to get out of the flat for a few hours. It does make a difference, believe me.

We’ve closed down at the office now until the New Year, so I just collected some Christmas cards that were left for me and now I’m home. Been receiving more kind messages and empathy from a few people. It’s been a tough week, but I’m sure it will all turn around again soon.

That’s it. Bye for now.
