Yesterday was a tonic….

Much needed too. Remember that I went from Stansted Airport to Birmingham via train. Saw some lovely countryside and it was looking at it’s healthy best in the late summer evening sunshine. Pleasant if slightly long winded journey over six counties:- Essex, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire and the West Midlands.

Though the countryside was looking at it’s healthy best, I must confess to a stinging migraine that lasted most of the day. Maybe a little bit of stress that had been building up over the last seven days had finally manifested itself in this migraine. But though I toyed with the idea of taking some paracetamol, I decided against it and the migraine abated by the time I got home around 10pm. Certainly the long day and escape from the realities of life in London helped in a decent night’s sleep and a good day today.

Always need that bit of sanctuary to assist my wellbeing. And it was a good day. Get out there and see the world. It won’t come to you!
