Time to think and to reflect…

It’s another scorching day in London and instead of suffering like most, I decided to get on a train and just have a few hours to myself. The train was wonderfully air conditioned and it was like being in a moving fridge freezer. Superb.

What wasn’t so good was that a lady behind me was reliving a real life drama and was extremely tearful and hurt. It sounded like a police matter and her language implied that she was very much under pressure. Not what you want to hear while enjoying a train ride, taking in the rolling, peaceful countryside but with a sad playback. She got off a few stops before the end, still in difficulties.

I changed back onto the high speed line back into London and another air conditioned train. Bliss and there were no dramas throughout the 38 minute return journey. Just nice to escape the heat and dripping humidity of London for a few hours.

Time to think…time to reflect
