Change is as good as a rest…

Busy week coming up, all mainly revolved around mental health. And today is a good day for indoor activities. For a welcome change, the sky is grey, the wind is howling and the rain is tipping it down. I might even have to wear a jacket and a pair of trousers for the first time in several weeks. Bracingly cool you might call it outside. But much needed nectar from the heavens. Proper rain.

Anyway, I’m off to the theatre later on. A.S.D Brooks becoming cultured, I hear you say? It’s not the West End and I haven’t paid £100 a ticket. But this production will be far more enjoyable and right up my street. It’s about a woman’s struggles with OCD, and it’s a production that’s doing the rounds with a final performance at the Edinburgh Festival in the Autumn.

The show is called WEIRD by Lucy Burke. And how appropriate that I’m going to watch it. I do have some OCD tendencies but not on an extreme scale. It’ll be interesting to see how this is portrayed. Something a bit different. It’ll stop me prattling on about the weather or cricket. Looking forward to it.

Me watching a show called WEIRD. They must have known….
