Party’s over folks, especially here in London. We had about 25 minutes of rain, with some accompanying artillery fire thunder and plenty of lightning. But just as quickly as it arrived, it’s gone.
The temperature is considerably lower, the humidity has receded quite markedly and the energy has gone out of the atmosphere, meaning that there may be some more rain but with no accompanying sound and light effects. It does feel a lot better, a cooler feel rather than being drenched in your own sweat. That weren’t too pleasant.
But……for those living in Norfolk, Suffolk and North Eastern Essex, the storms are in full throttle, and bringing to an end two quite uncomfortable days. I can look forward to a nice night’s sleep now. Just breathe that fresh air….ah lovely stuff, like nectar!
Weatherman Brooks signing off! Back to talking about mental health next week folks…..
