I predicted the other day of an explosive Bank Holiday weather wise here in the UK, and here in London right now, that prediction is coming true.
Since about 11pm last night, it’s been virtually constant flashes of lightning as a storm passed to the south over Central London. But before I thought we were out of the woods, another one was hot on the heels and this was right over where I live. Lightning just as frequent, loud bangs and crashes of thunder, absolutely ear splitting at one point, accompanied by some torrential rain in a very short space of time.
It has just calmed down but I think there maybe more to come. Some places in the South of England have seen some incredible weather the last two or three hours. But after a hot and extremely sultry day we’ve just had, this is no surprise but very spectacular and just a little frightening. Hopefully I can get off to sleep soon…..
