Three good days in a row…

Morning. From feeling low and dismal on Saturday, the last three days has seen a slow improvement in my general well being.

Early night last night, which is starting to help how I feel the following day. Sleeping a little bit better too, or rather the quality of sleep rather than the duration of it. Two completely different things.

Another bright and cheerful day. Still cold, but the snow and grot from the weekend has disappeared. Sunshine and bright skies do wonders for the soul and for the well being.

And finally….a bloke I used to be in the same class at school over 30 years ago got in touch with me last night. He enjoys the blog and enjoys the daily chronicling of my life. If it were so easy to convince others of “your talent” as he so kindly put it. I do have a good command of the English language, but I don’t see that as a talent, just the benefit of paying attention at school! I thank him for his kind message and I hope he continues to enjoy my scribblings. Good of him to get in touch.

So, a little more positivity and the emergence from that long, dark tunnel called winter are the key messages today. If only it were that simple every day. Plenty of ups and downs and plenty of brickbats to fly my way during the rest of 2018. It hasn’t been a good start to the year, but three days in a row feeling ok is a positive development. Hoping for more.
