Hello. We’ve had a touch of that substance that sends the UK into a mass panic – snow. There’s been a fair amount in the London area overnight. But the morning has been clear and bright and the contrast between the blue sky and the white ground makes one want to get outside and enjoy their day.
That lovely crispy sound as you walk over the snow. Crunch, crunch, crunch. Wonderful, evocative sound of winter. Personally, I don’t find this weather a problem. I think if you take note of the Armageddon type news headlines in newspapers and on the TV, one could be forgiven for thinking that this severe weather is a rare event. Well, it isn’t. As I speak, the sun has disappeared and another dollop of snow is coming down. But I’m off to volunteering and generally ignoring what the elements have to throw at me. It’s one of my favourite weather types.
Wrap up, get out there and enjoy it and take no notice of the ridiculous headlines. By next week, we’ll be wondering what has just happened. It’s Winter! Get over it….
